At least one member of Afghan security personnel was killed and four other people injured, one of whom was a civilian, in a series of three explosions recorded in the Afghan capital this morning.
The first explosion occurred around 6:30 a.m. in the Sarak e Naw area of Police District 5 against a private vehicle that killed a security officer and injured two other people, including a civilian police officer.
The second explosion occurred at around 7:20 a.m. at the Hangarha roundabout in Kabul Police District 15. Two police officers were injured and one police vehicle was destroyed.
The third explosion also took place in Police District 5, according to Tolo News, without leaving any victims.
These explosions are related to a significant increase in IED attacks in Kabul, mainly targeting security forces vehicles.
