At least five people have died on Wednesday after crashing a plane in a rugged area in the Mexican state of Michoacán, in the west of the country.
According to the first reports, the plane was traveling from Durango to Acapulco, in the state of Guerrero. For his part, the Secretary of Government, Carlos Herrera, has reported that members of the Attorney General's Office have already moved to the scene of the incident, according to the newspaper 'El Sol de México'.
“Personnel of the State Attorney General's Office travels to the vicinity of the community of Las Juntas, municipality of Madero, to carry out related actions in an accident,” he said.
For its part, the Ministry of Public Security of Michoacán has confirmed through its account on the Twitter social network the fall of the plane.
The victims have been identified as Alfonso Escobedo, Aldo Palma, Eduardo Contreras, César Loera, Miguel Cosió and Jose Hurtado.
