At least 36 were arrested for protests and riots in Atlanta against Rayshard Brooks’ death

At least 36 people were arrested in Atlanta following the death of young black man Rayshard Brooks by police shots after a confrontation with the agents during his detention, the city police confirmed to CNN. .

The full sequence of events is currently under investigation. The incident started last night in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant in the city, when the police reported that the agents were approaching 27-year-old Brooks, who had fallen asleep in his car, and blocked the passage of customers.

The police did a positive alcohol test on Brooks and tried to detain him.

According to the police report of events collected by the Atlanta Journal, there was another fight at this time in which Brooks tried to snatch an electric shock gun from one of the agents before escaping, in which the agents opened fire and killed the young man.
