At least 14 police officers injured in protests against racism in London

June 7, 2020

A total of 14 police officers were injured as a result of the clashes during the anti-racism demonstration in London this Saturday, as confirmed by the Metropolitan Police headquarters in the British capital on Sunday.

The protest was called in support of the black community in the United States after the death of American citizen George Floyd during a police arrest for which four officers were charged.

The demonstration, which according to the police was fundamentally peaceful, ended with an indictment of the agents on horseback that coincided with the start of the riots.
