At least 13 people have been injured by an explosion of fireworks that happened last night on the beach in Boramar, in the south of France, police sources have confirmed to the France Bleu station.
According to the City Council of Collioure, the incident took place when a rocket launched by a barge exploded near the 80,000 spectators who gathered to watch the night show.
The surface of the water diverted the projectile, which ended up exploding near the attendees.
Two people suffered severe burns, three are being treated in hospitals and seven others received assistance on site.
