At least 13 people have died, including three children, from the wreck of two boats this Wednesday on the Nile River as it passes through South Sudan.
The two boats have collided when they were sailing on the Nile near the city of Bor, in the South Sudanese state of Jonglei, according to DPA the Minister of Information of the region, Atong Kuol Manyang.
Each boat carried about 45 people on board, of which thirteen have died and six have been injured, as detailed by the local leader.
Rescuers have already moved to the area to search for other passengers, while authorities have begun to investigate the causes of the accident.
