Arreaza condemns the disqualification of Morales in Bolivia and Correa in Ecuador as “illegal”

The Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza has called the disqualification of the former presidents of Bolivia and Ecuador, Evo Morales and Rafael Correa, who cannot vote in their country’s elections, “illegal”.

“On the same day, two powerful political and social options were pursued: Evo Morales and Rafael Correa were illegally disqualified,” said Arreaza through his account on the social network Twitter.

In his message, the Venezuelan foreign minister assured that “the oligarchies are too afraid”, Morales and Correa, and at the same time affirmed that “nothing can prevent the next victories of the people in Bolivia and Ecuador”.

The Second Constitutional Chamber of the Ministry of Justice of the Ministry of La Paz decided this Monday to disqualify the candidacy of Morales, who currently lives in Argentina, as the first Senator for Cochabamba for the elections scheduled for October 18 in Bolivia.
