Argentina is trying to speed up the Sputnik V vaccine delivery schedule to boost immunization

Health Minister Carla Vizzotti and Advisor to the President Cecilia Nicolini are looking for a way to expedite the vaccine delivery schedule for Sputnik V, particularly with access to the second vaccine dose, to complete the schedules and thereby strengthen the vaccination schedule.

While half a million of the first dose of the Russian biologic will arrive in the country this Thursday, Vizzotti and Nicolini met with the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) authorities this Wednesday to oversee negotiations and control deliveries.

Both analyzed different axes for the development of immunization in Argentina, focusing on the importance of establishing the arrival schedule for the second doses in order to complete the immunization schedules already started.
