Argentina confirmed a total of 7,513 cases of COVID-19 this Thursday, the highest number since the pandemic began, and 147 deaths from the disease, according to the latest data from the country’s health ministry.

With these new numbers, Argentina already has 228,195 positives and 4,251 deaths, according to the Argentine news agency Télam.

Of the new cases found this Thursday, 85.6 percent, 6,433 people, correspond to the city and province of Buenos Aires, the epicenter of the pandemic in the Latin American country.
