Argentina has set a new record this Tuesday in both other cases of COVID-19 and deaths from the disease in the past 24 hours. This emerges from the latest balance offered by the country’s Ministry of Health.
In particular, 168 people died of COVID-19 on the last day, while 6,792 new infections were reached. With these numbers, Argentina’s balance has reached 3,979 deaths and 213,535 coronavirus cases.
The Ministry of Health has also reported that three cities have joined the list of areas with local disease transmission. They are the capital of Cordoba, Río Gallegos and Río Grande. The metropolitan region of Buenos Aires and the metropolitan regions of Pampa, Jujuy, Chaco, Neuquén, Rio Negro, Mendoza and Santa Fe were already on the list.
According to the health authorities, all Argentine provinces have registered new infections with corona viruses last week. This information comes as the outbreaks multiply across the country, even in the districts where the pandemic was apparently under control. Argentine news agency Télam.
