The Argentine Ministry of Health reported this Thursday that 11,905 new cases of COVID-19 have been diagnosed in the past 24 hours, while the number of additional deaths has reached 250.
According to data from the Argentine health authorities, made available by the Telam news agency, 524,198 people have already been infected and 10,907 people have died as a result of the disease in Argentina.
Of the cases registered this Thursday, 63.3 percent, 7,536 people, correspond to the city and province of Buenos Aires, which are the epicentres of COVID-19 in Argentina. So far, the city of Buenos Aires has counted 107,857 infected people and the province 316,506 infected people.
In addition, 2,880 people are admitted to intensive care units in the Latin American country due to the disease. The share of hospital beds in occupancy is 62.3 percent. 390,098 people were released in Argentina after recovering from COVID-19.
