It doesn’t take long before the 5G mobile internet can be used in Mexico. Telcel would be the first company to operate at the end of the year. However, do you know which smartphone models can use it? Here are some models.
Five brands already have hardware in their phones that would support this new network: Samsung, Motorola and Huawei. The following are the models that can be used with the fifth generation of mobile phone technologies.
P40 Pro +, this model like P40 Pro has the Kirin 990 processor and the Balong 5000 modem. The price is 29,999 pesos.
Galaxy S20 Ultra. The price is currently between 27,000 and 30,000 pesos. It has an Exynos 990 processor with Exynos Modem 5123, which you can use to connect to 5g networks.
Edge + with its processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 765GWith a 5G modem you can connect to these networks in Mexico. The price is approximately 20,000 pesos.
There are brands like Xiaomi and OPPO that are already working on their respective models. Xiaomi’s Poco F2 Pro is expected to debut with this network because it has Snapdragon 865 with a 5g modem. The OPPO brand has not confirmed a model for Mexico.
