The Wadhwani Foundation has launched the “Wadhwani Sahayata” program, which supports Mexican entrepreneurs through intensive expert advice that is free of charge for entrepreneurs.

The Wadhwani Foundation announced the start of the Wadhwani Sahayata Initiative, created to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) respond to the COVID-19 crisis and which is intended to intervene at least 4,000 companies over the next 12 months.
The economic crisis triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on various sectors of the economy, but it is the SMEs that have had the greatest impact.
Given that is the Wadhwani Foundation has teamed up with KPMG, Deloitte, EY and other consulting firms to provide entrepreneurs with free and intensive support for 16 to 18 weeks to ensure their stabilization.
Wadhwani Sahayata is worth one hundred thousand dollars ($ 100,000) per companyfree for selected companies. It consists in moving from a defense strategy to an offensive through an integrated transformation plan. Stabilized and growth-ready SMEs will receive support for the next 24 months through the Wadhwani Advantage app.
The Sahayata program is already active in the states of Chihuahua and Yucatán. Other states such as Nuevo León, State of Mexico, Jalisco and Sonora are already in negotiations with the foundation to implement this initiative as soon as possible. There are currently over 300 SMEs involved in the program and the impact is expected to increase on a large scale in Mexico.
