People who are one hundred percent happy with what they have have reached this state not by chance. The reality is that they do not accept anything other than happiness . They have made sacrifices and worked very hard to reach the desired fullness.
It's not about having good or bad luck. It all comes down to identifying what you want, formulating a plan to achieve it, and then giving your best effort to achieve it.
If you are unhappy, you have two options: you can complain about it and expect your life to change magically, or you can transform it yourself. To achieve the latter, I share a four-step plan that will allow you to achieve happiness. If you are not happy with your life, you owe it to yourself to make the change you need. Our passage through the world is too short to postpone it!
1. Determine why you are unhappy
There are many reasons why you may feel sad about life: a job you don't really love, work with unpleasant people or do a task for which you are overqualified. It may not be related to your professional life – as an unhealthy personal relationship. There may be millions of reasons for your discontent and it is your mission to identify them. Whatever these causes, you should be aware that you will not find true happiness until you identify what the problem is.
2. Change your attitude
What do you think happens when you are always filling your head with a negative outlook? Dark thoughts generate sadness and unhappiness, while positive thoughts produce joy.
At the end of the day, you are responsible for your own happiness. The only way you will be full is by changing your attitude and understanding that you are in complete control and ability to transform a bad situation.
3. Create a plan to achieve happiness
You can start designing a plan to be happy once you discover why you are not satisfied and have armed yourself with a positive attitude . This is the part where doubt usually attacks and prevents progress.
The excuses that justify you remain miserable begin to emerge. If you really want to be happy, you must overcome this barrier and commit to reaching your goal. Determine what your goal is and imagine what are the steps necessary to achieve it.
4. Take action and don't look back
When you have your plan outlined it is time to start working and not look back. Taking action does not guarantee results by itself, your journey to happiness includes mistakes, rejections and disappointments. But if you stay static there is only one guarantee and that is that your current situation will not change and you will continue to be sad.
Happiness will not come overnight, it is a constant battle in which you have to continue no matter how complicated the panorama looks.
And of course, don't forget that surrounding yourself with positive people who support you is essential.
