Apple has released new security updates for its mobile operating system after Discover vulnerabilities that could put cryptocurrency wallets at risk.
The security updates that were released on Tuesday affect iOS 14.4 and iPadOS 14.4. According to reports The vulnerabilities allowed hackers to gain remote access to a target system, revealing the user’s cryptocurrency wallet.
Pete Kim, Coinbase chief engineer, warned iPhone users to update their operating system immediately.
“If you are using a mobile crypto wallet on an iOS device, you need to update iOS ASAP!” Kim tweeted on Tuesday. “The update contains a fix for any remote code execution vulnerability that may have been actively exploited.”.

The Coinbase Mobile Wallet is the 13th most downloaded finance app in the Apple Store.
Apple security updates are available for iPhone 6s and later, iPad Air 2 and later, iPad mini 4 and later, and 7th generation iPad touch. The company says the vulnerabilities “may have been actively exploited” by malicious actors.
