Animoca brands worked with that Manchester City, Premier League football club and Australian club Melbourne City FC develops video games and collectibles for both teams.
The club revealed a publication on December 21st on Manchester City’s official Twitter account, The job will be to create collectibles for the club’s men’s and women’s teams along with Melbourne City, which he also owns.
Animoca Brands will develop mini-games for its super-casual video game website GAMEE. They also create a set of trading cards that will be distributed to your NFT partner non-fungible tokens (collectibles). Quidd.
There will also be Manchester City and Melbourne City themed game experiences created in The Sandbox. This is a subsidiary of Animoca Brands.
This isn’t the popular Premier League club’s first foray into the blockchain world. As Cointelegraph reported, in August 2019 the company partnered with South Korea-based soccer video game company Superbloke to include Citizen players in Superbloke’s FC Superstars game.
Animoca Brands has signed a number of highly regarded licenses outside of the traditional crypto space to appeal to its large and loyal audience. Among them is his Formula 1 game F1 Delta Time, which recently hit the record price for an in-game NFT sale, when an NFT representing 5% of the famous Monaco route was auctioned for USD 220,000.
