A joint operation by the Colombian Army, Navy and Public Prosecutor’s Office culminated in the arrest of twelve dissident members of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) in a rural area of ​​Tumaco municipality in Nariño.

The operation, which was concluded after several hours of fighting, was launched against the front of Urias Rendón and released two minors who had been forcibly recruited by the FARC dissidents.

Among the detainees is the leader of the dissident front, known by the code name “Flight”, as can be seen from the army document to which Blu Radio had access. The soldiers were greeted with gunfire, but there were no injuries or casualties on the part of the Colombian army.

The authorities have confiscated weapons such as rifles, rifles and pistols, a radio and around 200 grams of coca paste. The FARC dissident’s Urias Rendón Front has a large area of ​​the Nariño Pacific area where the operation took place.
