Andrés Manuel López Obrador, President of Mexico, will support small and medium businessmen in the face of current economic uncertainty and will announce the initiatives this Sunday.
This was confirmed by the president of the Business Coordinating Council (CCE), Carlos Salazar Lomelín, who along with Francisco Cervantes, president of the Confederation of Industrial Chambers (Concamin), Antonio del Valle, president of the Mexican Business Council and Luis Niño de Rivera , president of the Association of Banks of Mexico, held a meeting with the president.
Among the announcements to be made by the President this Sunday, credits are expected through the National Finance Company so that SMEs can maintain employment.
In this way, they also explained that López Obrador declared that he would not borrow the country to face the economic crisis. Cervantes added that they will wait until May to observe the evolution of the panorama in this month of April and thus know where the resources will come from to help SMEs.
