Afghanistan says it will respond to Pakistani-led border artillery attacks

The Afghan government said on Tuesday that it will respond to Pakistani army artillery attacks on the border, killing seven civilians and wounding several others.

During the day, the National Security Advisor to the Executive, Hamdulá Mohib, visited Kunar Province to investigate the damage caused by the attacks and expressed condolences to the families of the victims.

He also emphasized that “the enemy must not build facilities (on Afghan territory)” and “projectile attacks do not go unanswered,” as his office reports on his account on the Twitter social network.
