“You already exhibited us!” as the meme would say. There is no doubt that online purchases have increased in 2020. The circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic have led consumers to buy their products over the internet.
In this context, Federal Consumer Prosecutor’s Office (Profeco) registered 227 complaints from users who asked to validate guarantees for purchases made through online platforms.
5 in 10 companies in Mexico are doubling their online growth, and 2 in 10 are seeing more than 300% growth in online sales volume, according to a study by the Mexican Association of Online Sales (AMVO).
