According to a new bitFLyer survey, the number of Europeans who believe that cryptocurrencies will continue to exist in 10 years has increased from 63% in 2019 to 66% in 2020.

The survey is part of BitFLyer’s annual Crypto Confidence Index study. Based on a consumer survey of 10,000 respondents in 10 countries in Europe. Research was similar to the first survey in 2019 It was carried out by bitFLyer’s European office, bitFLyer Europe, in March. The countries examined include Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, France, Italy, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland and the United Kingdom.

Italy, which was the second largest country affected by COVID-19 after China in March 2020, has shown the greatest level of trust in cryptocurrencies across Europe. According to the survey, 72% of Italians have expressed confidence in the longevity of cryptocurrencies. This makes them the nation with the largest number of cryptocurrency believers in the 10 countries examined.

According to bitFLyer data, Italians have become more optimistic about crypto. The March 2020 results show a 4% increase over the March 2019 survey results. In mid-March, the main Italian bank Banco Sella launched the Bitcoin (BTC) trading service and enabled the function for 1.2 million users.

Britain is the least trustworthy at 56%.

On the other hand Britain has shown the worst results regarding confidence in the longevity of cryptocurrencies. According to the survey, only 56% of people in the UK believe crypto will stay here.

Also The UK is said to be the only country besides Norway that has lost confidence in the future of cryptocurrencies compared to 2019. The number of respondents in the UK who believe crypto will exist in 10 years has decreased from 57% in 2019 to 1% in 2020. In Norway, the number dropped from 74% in 2019 to 67% in 2020.

On April 23, Paxful published a survey showing that Americans are increasingly considering cryptocurrencies as an alternative to the current financial system.
