This campaign probably didn’t go as the candidate had imagined.
The presidential candidate, Brock Pierce, was accused for his connection to a suspected securities fraud during his election rally in New York City today.
James Koutoulas, the lawyer leading this case, told Cointelegraph that Pierce had received legal documents related to a class action lawsuit against Block. One, a company Pierce co-founded. Block. One was the company behind EOS’s first $ 4 billion coin offering. The project’s ICO was the largest offering to date.
Brock Pierce has co-founded several crypto projects including Block.one, Tether and Blockchain Capital. The first two have been the subject of ongoing legal action for several years.
Pierce announced his long-term running for the US presidency in July, shortly after Kanye West. It says on their campaign website is a pioneer in digital currency and has raised more than $ 5 billion for the companies he founded.
