A security guard in a store in Flint, Michigan, was shot after asking a customer to put on a face mask that is required in the area to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Calvin Munerlyn, 43, in particular, died in a local hospital after being shot in the head on Friday, said Michigan Police Chief David Kaiser who reported to CNN television. that the person who shot and a second suspect remain at large.

Several people in the store told police that Munerlyn had verbally argued with a woman because she wasn’t wearing a mask, Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton said. A video recorded by a surveillance camera confirms the incident, he added.
