Argentine security forces have arrested a man suspected of throwing a Molotov cocktail at Quinta de los Olivos, the official residence of Argentine President Alberto Fernández, despite the fact that authorities have made it clear that no damage has occurred.
The attack took place around 6 am, according to the police, quoted by the newspaper “La Nación”. “Nothing serious,” they made clear from the Argentine Ministry of Security.
The suspect was identified as a 48-year-old man from the northern part of the Buenos Aires metropolitan area. According to the Clarín newspaper, it was quickly reduced by the police who also confiscated several bottles of gasoline.
