A bomb van explodes in the center of Kabul

MADRID, Sep. 5 (EUROPE PRESS) –

An explosion was recorded this Thursday morning in the center of Kabul, on a road near Abdulhaq Square, a spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, Nasrat Rahimi, has confirmed to the local television network 1TV.

Rahimi has said that the deflagration has taken place at 10.10 am on a road near Abdulhaq Square and that it has been caused by a van loaded with explosives. At the moment, the authorities have not reported whether fatalities or injuries have been registered.

The explosion comes three days after the Taliban attacked with a truck bomb in Green Village, an international complex located in the Afghan capital, ending the lives of 16 people and wounding another 119.
