London Police this Saturday arrested 32 participants in an anti-vaccine demonstration and in denial of prison terms for the COVID-19 pandemic called up in Trafalgar Square.
In a statement, police said that at the protest, which violated physical distancing rules due to the pandemic, participants were asked to leave the location but stayed in the area to transfer themselves yourself and others at risk. “
According to the agents, the protesters subsequently launched violent actions against them, for which it was decided to disperse the remaining crowd.
The arrests were carried out for crimes of public disorder, aggression and in accordance with the regulations enacted in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Two police officers were also slightly injured. The demonstration ended around 6 p.m. (local time).
